Apps that can make co-parenting easier

Technology has made our lives easier in so many facets, it is certainly plausible that it can make post-divorce life simpler as well. After all, many parents struggle with the beginnings of a new life without the other parent, so they may end up trying to do many things on their own that they did not have to be responsible for while they were married. As such, there are many time-saving apps that new divorcees, as well as potential divorcees, should be aware of. We will share them through this post.

My Family Wizard – The online scheduling program has a smartphone component that allows parents to access their notes, calendars and scheduling updates while on the go. By having a mobile version of this program, you are less likely to miss out on messages and last minute updates.

Divorce Coping – This app provides a daily dose of humor to help in getting through tough times. Whoever said laughter is the best medicine was certainly on to something. Having a laugh can help you keep things in perspective when it comes to co-parenting.

Google Calendar– Much like MyFamilyWizard, a Google calendar can help parents keep track of school events, doctor and dentist appointments, as well as parenting time. More importantly, you can have other people access it when necessary.

Artkive – Much like Evernote, this app allows you to archive all of your child’s artwork in one place. So you will know what to do with your child’s early pictures and paintings.

If you have additional co-parenting questions, an experienced family law attorney can help.
